An operating layer for hotel teams
WAYFARER built Materia Connect while operating its own hotels, using the platform across 13 of its properties at the time of its September 2026 financing announcement. The system links existing property-management software and other hotel systems through APIs, giving teams a shared base for workflows spanning reservations, guest service, pricing and on-property operations.
Rather than replace a hotel’s core PMS, Materia Connect is designed to make its data available to automation and AI tools alongside operational workflows. This lets the company test software against live hotel processes and refine it with both operations and technology teams; third-party hotel operators are the intended customers for its platform expansion.
