Modular plants that convert renewable electricity into synthetic methane.
Product
TURN2X develops modular plants that turn renewable electricity, water and biogenic carbon dioxide into e-methane. The resulting gas can travel through existing pipelines and be used by industrial customers in equipment designed for natural gas.
The Munich company places production near renewable power and carbon dioxide sources. Its process first produces hydrogen through electrolysis, then combines hydrogen with carbon dioxide in a methanation reactor.
Its commercial site in Miajadas, Spain, supplies gas under long-term offtake agreements. Standardized plant modules support expansion across multiple locations.
