A clinical-stage immunotherapy company is advancing an engineered CTLA-4 antibody for earlier cancer treatment.
Solstice is developing porustobart, an engineered, Fc-enhanced CTLA-4 antibody intended to be used with the anti-PD-1 therapy pembrolizumab. The company is testing the combination before surgery, when immunotherapy may be able to reduce or eliminate tumors while supporting long-term disease control.
Its lead program is in clinical development for stage II–III microsatellite-stable colon cancer, with a second indication undisclosed. Solstice launched as a clinical-stage company and is preparing a Phase 2 trial; porustobart remains investigational and is not a marketed treatment.
