Rio Health delivers medicines and healthcare essentials to households across Delhi NCR. A customer sends a medicine list or prescription photo on WhatsApp, or describes the order by voice or text. AI helps assemble the request, then a licensed pharmacist verifies it before dispensing. Rio confirms availability and price, collects payment and dispatches from a nearby fulfillment location.
The service is operating in neighborhoods around Noida and Ghaziabad, with its own website listing a licensed pharmacy and local delivery areas. Version One’s September investment memo describes three current dark stores, each serving a small delivery radius and sourcing less common medicines through distributors. Expansion to more than 15 stores is planned for the following year; the current workflow keeps prescription checking within the pharmacy rather than treating delivery speed as a substitute for it.
