Quint Computing develops superconducting quantum processors that suppress errors in the hardware, aiming to make fault-tolerant quantum computing practical for industrial users.
Quantum computing for industrial workloads
Quint Computing is an Erlangen-based quantum computing company developing processors for applications such as molecular simulation and industrial optimisation. Founded in October 2025, it grew out of research at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
Its architecture tackles the extra hardware needed to correct quantum errors. Circuit elements suppress a large share of errors on the chip, leaving the remaining errors to correction algorithms. The company combines that approach with superconducting qubits to retain fast computation.
From research to usable systems
The business is building the processors and engineering capabilities needed for fault-tolerant systems. Its roadmap includes quantum chip design, fabrication, error correction and work with industrial users.
Christopher Eichler leads the company as CEO, Michael Hartmann is CTO and Jona Stinner is CFO and COO. Quint is part of the Munich Quantum Valley ecosystem.
