Overroute connects specialized agents to a carrier’s transportation management system, enterprise software, visibility platforms and operating data. The agents monitor loads and exceptions, coordinate scheduling and dispatch, and handle repetitive follow-up so freight teams can act on current information without replacing the tools they already use.

The system was developed with freight operators and is already deployed across the J.B. Hunt freight network, where the company says its agents have worked on millions of loads. Carriers and private fleets can begin with a bounded monitoring, scheduling or follow-up workflow, then extend the agents across planning and asset optimization as deployments prove value.
