NewLimit develops epigenetic reprogramming medicines designed to restore function in aging cells and treat age-related disease.
Designing cellular reprogramming medicines
NewLimit uses artificial intelligence and large-scale genomics experiments to discover combinations of transcription factors that change how cells use their genes. Its discovery cycle designs candidate payloads, tests thousands in parallel and feeds the experimental results back into its models. Promising combinations then advance to studies in cells and preclinical models.
A pipeline focused on cellular function
The company is developing programs for liver, immune and vascular health. Its aim is to treat disease by restoring cellular function, with a liver-focused program leading its planned move into human studies. In its June 2026 financing announcement, NewLimit said it intended to begin its first human trial in 2027.
