The special-purpose company brings seven high-voltage battery-storage facilities into one financing portfolio. The projects are intended to earn revenue through Japan’s balancing, wholesale electricity and capacity markets.
Nippon Chikudenchi and Remixpoint jointly invested in the structure, which was formed by eco Properties. The project-company structure allows financing to be organised around the storage assets and their expected operating revenue.
