Naked Energy
United Kingdom · Climate tech
Naked Energy develops solar collectors and monitoring software that supply renewable heat to commercial and industrial buildings.
Heat from the building’s own roof
The Virtu range uses vacuum tubes to capture solar energy for hot water and other building heat needs. VirtuHOT is designed for thermal output, while VirtuPVT combines a photovoltaic cell and a heat absorber to produce electricity and heat together.
The low-profile collectors fit into rooftop installations where available space and building appearance affect the project. The company targets sites with sustained heat demand, including hotels, hospitals, leisure centres and manufacturing facilities.
From collectors to operating systems
Naked Energy combines its hardware with system design and the Clarity monitoring platform. Customers can track installed equipment’s output as part of an operating renewable-heat system.
Commercial installations include the British Library and the All England Lawn Tennis Club. The company supplies projects in Europe and North America and is developing additional UK manufacturing capacity.
