A data-sharing platform where communities and organisations publish multilingual, multicultural and multimodal datasets for AI builders under access and licensing terms they control.
Mozilla Data Collective gives communities and organisations a place to publish datasets and retain ownership while choosing how each collection can be used. Listings can be openly licensed, community-governed or compensated; uploaders can also require an access request and approve who downloads restricted material.
AI developers can browse a catalogue of multilingual, multicultural and multimodal data, search for material suited to a model or task, and request datasets that are not yet available. The platform connects those needs with contributors who understand the data’s provenance and can decide the terms on which it is shared.
