Impossible Objects builds industrial 3D printers that make strong, lightweight composite parts for manufacturers.
Impossible Objects' Composite-Based Additive Manufacturing (CBAM) process combines long-fiber carbon or fiberglass sheets with high-performance polymer powders such as PEEK. The printer forms lightweight, strong composite parts with complex geometries, giving manufacturers another way to make functional components without dedicated molds or tooling.
Aerospace, defense and advanced-manufacturing customers use the systems for prototypes, functional parts and production runs. The company sells industrial printing equipment and materials and is expanding production and customer deployments as adoption grows.
