How businesses move money through HIFI

HIFI gives fintechs, marketplaces and other businesses an API for collecting payments and sending payouts across banking and stablecoin networks. A business accepts money from a bank account, card or wallet, applies its approval rules and limits, then converts and routes funds to the recipient’s chosen payment method. The platform combines this flow with treasury tools, identity checks and ongoing compliance monitoring; regulated banking services are provided through partners including Cross River Bank.

The infrastructure is already in use. HIFI’s September announcement describes live repo settlement with Tradeweb, DRW and Marex on the Canton Network, using USDCx for the cash leg of the transaction. This extends the payment workflow into institutional markets, where money must move alongside a trade. Broader capital-market integrations and additional regulatory licenses remain part of its expansion plans.
