How platform teams share infrastructure

Clastix develops Kubernetes infrastructure software for cloud providers, telecom operators and organisations running their own servers. Its open-source Kamaji component hosts multiple cluster control planes on shared management infrastructure, reducing the dedicated machines needed to manage each tenant. The commercial kMetal platform adds provisioning, tenant isolation, quotas, upgrades and monitoring, giving teams separate Kubernetes environments while administrators govern the fleet centrally.

Teams request environments through self-service workflows within administrator-defined limits. Operators can coordinate upgrades and inspect access and resource use across clusters, rather than managing each environment separately. This is an operating product: Clastix describes production deployments in Europe and North America, and Mistral AI CTO Timothee Lacroix identifies its technology as infrastructure supporting Mistral’s training and inference workloads. Mistral is both an adopter and an investor.
