Carsell developed an independent-agent network to handle used-car sales between private owners and buyers in France.

Founded by Morgan Petitjean in 2021, Carsell set out to help private owners sell their cars through independent local agents. Agents handled valuations, listings, viewings and the sale process.
The model used transaction commissions to pay agents and support the central business. Its launch plan combined agent recruitment and training with digital tools for managing vehicles and customers.
Initial financing
In December 2021, Carsell announced more than €2.2 million in equity financing led by Otium Capital to develop its agent network.
