A bank-governed network for moving tokenized commercial-bank deposits in programmable, always-on transactions between participating financial institutions.
Cari provides a permissioned digital-money network for chartered banks. A participating bank can issue digital tokens representing its customers’ U.S.-dollar deposits; transactions settle on a shared network while the underlying deposits remain within the issuing bank’s regulated perimeter. The network is designed to make bank money transferable and programmable beyond traditional payment hours. More than 30 financial institutions work with the network, including six design-partner banks.
Banks connect to the network to issue and transact in tokenized deposits, enabling real-time settlement and programmable payments between participants. The model gives banks a shared digital rail for commercial money movement while keeping deposit issuance and customer relationships with chartered institutions.
