Big Picture Bio builds a cancer research model that predicts which drug combinations may work together, helping biopharma teams prioritize therapies and experiments.
Big Picture Bio models how tumour, immune-cell and surrounding-tissue states interact as cancer changes. It uses those mechanistic relationships to predict whether drug pairs or larger combinations could create additive or synergistic effects, including settings where little precedent exists for conventional machine-learning systems to interpolate from.
The model is used both for the company’s own combination programmes and in research collaborations. Pharma and biotech teams can use it to assess target pairings, select drugs already in a portfolio, evaluate payloads for delivery vectors or sense-check a proposed combination trial. The company says its model produces predictions in seconds and has publicly tested prospective predictions against Phase 3 readouts; its own drug combinations are earlier, moving from computational design into lab validation.
