Music rights organisations need to know which recordings are played in shops, cafés, gyms and other commercial venues. Audoo supplies Audio Meter devices that recognise those recordings and report public-performance data to licensing partners.
The London company combines physical monitoring devices with a data platform for collecting and analysing playback information. Rights organisations can use those observations to inform royalty calculations and payments to artists, songwriters and other rights holders.
