Building modular farms for land-based aquaculture

ARK designs, develops and manufactures modular recirculating aquaculture systems that allow fish farming without relying on a conventional open-water site. Its closed-loop systems are intended to support production in different locations and climates, with the company also working to create markets for seafood raised using the technology.

ARK has been deploying the model in Japan and is preparing projects in the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. The company is positioning its modular approach for producers and regional partners seeking more controlled seafood production, including grouper farming in harsh environments.
