From a short video to a clinical referral

Aignosis offers an initial screening tool for parents and paediatric practices. A child watches short video stimuli while a standard webcam captures behavioural signals. Computer vision examines responses such as gaze, response to their name and reactions to facial expressions, then produces a risk report that can guide referral for a formal clinical assessment. This screening report is not a diagnosis.

The service fits into existing clinics rather than requiring a standalone device. Aignosis describes specialist-supervised screening, followed by psychologist review and guidance on further support. The company has moved beyond development: its October announcement, reported by ETEntrepreneur, says the system has been deployed in more than 20 government primary health centres in Rajasthan and completed over 8,000 screenings. Wider deployment through healthcare and school partners is the next stage.
