TriGemX Bio secures $94m as elismetrep enters Phase 3 migraine trials
The Column Group, TCGX and Viking Global Investors co-lead the financing of the company formerly known as Kallyope.
The first pivotal trial and a long-term safety study of elismetrep are underway, with a second pivotal trial scheduled to begin in October 2026. Initial results are expected in mid-2027. The oral TRPM8 blocker remains investigational and has not been approved by the FDA or another regulator.
The announcement also brings a leadership change: Jeff Goater becomes chief executive while remaining a venture partner at The Column Group, and Aninda Katragadda becomes chief financial officer. TCGX managing partner Cariad Chester joins the board.
