Scholar Education raises $2m seed as classroom support expands toward evaluations

The company’s next phase connects its existing teacher and student assistants with a planned special-education assessment service.

Scholar’s two classroom assistants work on opposite sides of the same lesson. PAWfessor Bruce helps a teacher prepare material, feedback and activities while tracking accommodations. BaxterBot gives students practice and guidance adapted to their reading level and learning profile. Information from student work returns to the teacher, connecting preparation with what happens during class.

The company reports more than 20,000 teachers and students combined using its tools, and publishes teacher accounts of differentiated reading and independent practice. Its Scholar Health initiative is still in development. That extension aims to connect evaluation results with ongoing classroom support, building on the teaching workflow the company already serves.
