Prime Minute emerges with $15m pre-seed for wildfire response
The company is developing an aerial suppression system and working toward prototype field evaluations with Colorado later in 2026.
Prime Minute’s proposed system connects information about a fire to the decision and equipment needed to attack it. Software combines incident intelligence with mission planning, while precision-guided suppression units are designed for release from fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters. Emergency agencies and infrastructure operators are the intended users, with aircraft supplied by partners or customers.
The company is at the prototype-validation stage. Its approach targets the early minutes of a wildfire and aims to support response at night, in strong winds or with poor visibility. The planned Colorado evaluations will put the suppression hardware into field conditions. Eclipse led the financing, joined by 8VC, as the Palo Alto team brought the project out of stealth.
What the funding supports
- Develop wildfire response technology
- Build local manufacturing and expand the team
- Test and validate prototypes
