HiringCafe raises $6.8M as Talent Agent leaves beta

The job-search company reports two million monthly users ahead of the tool’s wider US launch.

A search that keeps watching for new roles

HiringCafe builds its index directly from employers’ career pages, giving job seekers a route to vacancies that may never reach the boards they usually check. Talent Agent reads a resume and the user’s preferences, examines matching job descriptions and flags suitable openings as they appear. The result is an ongoing shortlist, rather than another broad search the applicant must repeat each day.

The company reports an index of more than five million jobs. Thousands of users tried the beta and supplied feedback before the US release. Alongside matching, the product works on identifying stale or inactive vacancies, so the usefulness of the shortlist depends on both personal fit and whether a role is still open.
