Granite raises €4m for AI infrastructure customers can own

Bifrost Studios led the financing as the company commercializes an integrated stack of modular data centres and software for running AI agents.

Organizations that need control over where AI workloads run often have to assemble computing, storage, networking and software themselves. Granite packages those layers together. Its GraniteCloud offering puts the hardware in a containerised data centre that customers can deploy and own, with software managing the memory, permissions and tools used by AI agents.

The company is targeting regulated enterprises, infrastructure operators and AI developers. It also plans to offer capacity through GraniteNet for customers that prefer to use shared infrastructure. Its commercial rollout is at an early stage: Granite describes European deployments under way and its first sovereign container shipping in 2026, while network capacity remains available through reservations.
