Dextr AI raises $6.7m seed to connect hotel agents with property operations
The startup combines reservation and guest-service agents with engineers who adapt deployments to each hotel’s systems and working practices.
Dextr’s Daisy agent handles reservation calls, while Alfred manages guest conversations around arrivals and stays. Both sit within a wider hospitality workflow: the company connects agents to property-management software and lets employees give instructions through its Doss text-and-voice companion. Live integrations include OPERA Cloud and Hostaway.
The implementation is part of the service. Engineers work with each property to connect its systems and stay involved as staff begin using the agents. Dextr charges subscriptions based on the property and agents selected, plus usage fees for some agents. Its founders say deployments now span hundreds of hotels, including independent properties and owners operating under larger brands. The round, led by Elevation Capital with Foundation Capital participating, is its first institutional financing.
