Complaion raises €13.5m to combine compliance software with specialist support
Eurazeo and Italian Founders Fund co-led the financing for a service helping European SMEs prepare and maintain certifications.
A smaller business can have an audit deadline without having a compliance department. Complaion combines a workspace for policies, evidence, corrective actions and deadlines with dedicated ISO lead auditors who guide the work. The service takes a customer from gap analysis through documentation and internal audits to preparation for assessment by a certification body.
The relationship continues after certification. Customers track renewal dates and outstanding actions in the same system, and can share supporting documents through a trust centre when pursuing contracts. Published customer accounts include Renewall’s work on ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 and CastInformatica’s information-security certification. The model combines recurring software use with specialist judgment throughout the certification cycle.
