RemoteThreat discloses $7m pre-seed as its cyber operations platform emerges from stealth
The OUP and DataTribe-backed company brings mission planning, offensive tooling and supervised AI workflows together for red teams and government operators.
Security teams running an adversary simulation must coordinate tools, operators and evidence across an engagement. RemoteThreat’s O/C/O platform puts that work in one environment: teams define objectives and approval boundaries, assign tasks and retain the findings needed to assess how their defenses performed. AI assistants help with planning and analysis, with delegated actions governed by the mission’s rules.
The September announcement brings an earlier financing into public view. A February SEC filing recorded $7m sold and a first sale on January 16; OUP’s September investment announcement identifies the same pre-seed financing, co-led with DataTribe. The product supports cloud, on-premises and isolated deployments, allowing customers to connect their existing security tools and selected AI models.
