Digitron raises approximately ₩10 billion in pre-IPO financing
The Korean electronics supplier is preparing for a planned KOSDAQ listing after building a substantial defence order backlog.
SBI Investment, IBK Venture Investment, New Main Capital, Cornerstone Investment Partners, Bestian Partners and HN Ventures participated. NH Investment & Securities is the planned listing underwriter, a different role from the investors financing this round.
Digitron builds precision radio-frequency components and embedded signal-processing systems used in guided weapons, surveillance, avionics, electronic warfare and communications. Its customers include LIG Defense & Aerospace and Korea Aerospace Industries, placing its products within larger defence programmes rather than standalone consumer devices.
The company reports an order backlog above ₩100 billion at the end of September and targets annual sales above ₩40 billion. These figures describe orders and a sales target, respectively; neither is part of the financing amount.
What the funding supports
- Expand production facilities
- Provide working capital for larger defence orders
