Testing a shared market mechanism before wider release
functionSPACE is developing infrastructure for applications that price measurable outcomes, such as a sports score, economic release or future computing cost. One market covers the numerical range, and traders can choose a threshold, interval or custom payoff shape against the same pool of liquidity. Settlement uses a verifiable data source. The intended users are developers building prediction markets, trading products and research tools on top of that shared mechanism.
The company has tested the format in three public campaigns, including a free-to-play football fantasy application. Its website says markets so far have used play money on an off-chain engine, while the on-chain contracts remain a proof of concept. The work now is to turn that tested design into infrastructure other teams can use. Its cultureSPACE application and broader builder access are offered through waitlists.
